At Mission503SM, Inc., an Oklahoma not-for profit corporation and federally recognized 501(c)(4) social welfare organization (hereinafter, “Mission503,” “us,” “our,” or “we,”), we respect and protect the privacy of users of our website, www.Mission503.org (“Website”).
Mission503 does not actively collect, store, or use data from users who simply visit and read our Website. Our Website does, however, within our Services, contain mechanisms with which users may voluntarily interact (hereinafter, “Voluntary Mechanisms”). Examples of these Voluntary Mechanisms and interactions include:
The interactive Voluntary Mechanisms on our Website are implemented by third-party applications or third-party vendors (hereinafter “Third-Party Service Providers”). Inherent within the nature of these Voluntary Mechanisms is the necessity for users to provide their information.
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter, “Policy”) informs Website visitors and Website users about the ways in which we collect and share information from individuals who utilize the Voluntary Mechanisms on our Website, and donors who make online and offline donations. Your use of our Website and your utilization of our Voluntary Mechanisms indicate your acceptance of this Policy. If you do not agree with or you are not comfortable with any aspect of this Policy, you should not volunteer your information to us, nor should you interact with the Voluntary Mechanisms on our Website and you should immediately discontinue use of our Website.
PERSONAL INFORMATION. “Personal Information” is information that identifies you personally, including but not limited to your name, address, telephone number, and email address. Mission503, Inc. will store various components of your Personal Information in our database if you utilize one or more of our Voluntary Mechanisms on our Website, including: (1) registering on our National Register of 503 Victims, (2) submitting your personal story to our 503 Victims’ Stories portal, (3) signing our national petition, (4) making an online donation, (5) purchasing Mission503 apparel, or (6) otherwise volunteering your Personal Information to us. Mission503 does not collect any Personal Information other than the information you provide to us directly or through a Voluntary Mechanism on our Website. If you would like to review the Personal Information you have provided to us through these channels; or make corrections or deletions; and/or request that your information not be shared with our authorized affiliates (“affiliates” are defined below in this Policy), please email us at Connect@Mission503.org and indicate PRIVACY REQUEST in the subject line. You should receive communication from us within 10 working days.
IP ADDRESSES. The integrity of our work is essential to advance the objectives of our mission. For purposes of facilitating high-integrity data, analysis and aggregate reporting of submissions volunteered to our National Register of 503 Victims and our 503 Victims’ Stories, these interactive portals capture IP addresses to limit submissions to one per email/IP address per portal.
LOCATION INFORMATION. Providing your ZIP code and State, and other Personal Information, are required for registration with our voluntary National Register of 503 Victims and submissions to our 503 Victims’ Stories portal. Providing additional Location Information (i.e. mailing address) is optional on these interactive Voluntary Mechanisms and would only be utilized for communication with you. ZIP code and State are utilized for data analysis and reporting within the stated objectives of these Voluntary Mechanisms and our mission. Individual identity and specific Location Information will not be disclosed in Mission503, Inc. Official Reports or strategic communications.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS. The interactive Voluntary Mechanisms on our Website are implemented by third-party applications or third-party vendors (hereinafter “Third-Party Service Providers”). Inherent within the function of these Voluntary Mechanisms is the necessity for users to provide their Personal Information. Location Information may be required when utilizing services of Third-Party Service Providers. Our Third-Party Service Providers will share Personal Information of the user with us, and upon such time that your information comes into our possession it will be integrated into our database and subject to our privacy protocol in accordance with this Policy. This Policy does not apply to websites of Third-Party Service Providers or to any information collected, processed, or stored at such other websites, applications, or vendors. Mission503 is not responsible for the privacy practices of Third-Party Service Providers, and you understand and agree that those privacy practices may be significantly different than those stated in this Policy.

WE DO NOT COLLECT DONOR INFORMATION. Online donations are processed by providing transactional information through a website portal to complete the donation (such as your credit card number and expiration date). This is “Donor Information.” Mission503 does not collect Donor Information. When making an online donation to Mission503 via the donation section on our Website, the links and QR codes direct you into the donation processors’ applications for processing where each respective processors’ Privacy Policy and Terms apply. Within the applications, limited Personal Information of donors is made available to us (e.g. name, email address). Donation processors do not provide Donor Information to us. If you make an online donation, your Personal Information, excluding your Donor Information, will be added to Mission503’s database in accordance with this Policy.
If you make an offline donation (i.e. mail a check through the U.S. mail to our P.O. Box), Mission503 will not add your Personal Information to our database unless you independently and specifically request that we do so. At which point your information is added into our database it will become subject to our privacy protocol in accordance with this Policy.
USE OF COOKIES or GOOGLE® ANALYTICS. We use Google Analytics, which utilizes cookies, for basic knowledge of usage behavior for visitors to our website, including, but not limited to number of visitors, bounce rate, sessions, average session duration, and page views.
Mission503, Inc. does not use, share, or otherwise disclose your information except as stated in this Policy or as permitted by applicable law. We do not sell any information you provide to us.
EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS. Your information will be used by Mission503 to send email communications about the organization's work, advocacy, organized events, fundraising efforts (in accordance to charitable solicitations’ guidelines) and related issues, unless you have opted-out of receiving such communications where opt-out features apply. We may also email you with pertinent follow-up, subsequent to your voluntary participation with one of our interactive Voluntary Mechanisms.
SHARING INFORMATION. Mission503 reserves the right to share Personal Information, Location Information, and/or IP Address that is collected through our National Register of 503 Victims and 503 Victims’ Stories with our authorized affiliates for purposes of data integrity, data analysis, presentation preparation, strategic communications, and preparation and issuance of Official Reports within the function of our mission and stated objectives. Otherwise, Mission503 will not share Personal Information with a third party, except in the unlikely event that it is required to do so by law or if we have a reasonable, good-faith belief that doing so is necessary for (i) responding to your request for information, (ii) addressing fraud, security, or technical issues, (iii) protecting the rights, property, and safety of Mission503, Inc., its representatives, users, and the public, (iv) responding to legal claims and processes served on our Website or organization, or (v) enforcing our Terms of Use, including investigating potential violations.
AUTHORIZED AFFILIATES. Authorized affiliates are defined herein as any third party that is contractually engaged and bound by confidentiality with Mission503 to support and advance the mission and objectives of Mission503.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM WEBSITE. Mission503, through Third-Party Service Providers, sends automated email to registrants of the National Register of 503 Victims and to submitters of 503 Victims’ Stories to acknowledge receipt or status of their registration/story submission. Other Third-Party Service Providers may issue automated email in response to your utilization of a Voluntary Mechanism on our Website (e.g. signing petition, buying apparel, etc.)
ANONYMIZED DATA. We will publish Official Reports on our Website and to public authorities, and to other recipients we deem necessary and appropriate, as well as issue strategic communications, from data we collect and analyze from volunteered submissions to the National Register of 503 Victims as well as testimonials volunteered to our 503 Victims’ Stories portal. Data-reporting will be done in aggregate. Personal Information of registrants and story-submitters will be kept anonymous and not be disclosed in Official Reports, strategic communications, or reproductions of Victims’ testimonials or excerpts of testimonials.
SECURITY. The security of your Personal Information is important to Mission503. Security measures have been taken to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure that you have voluntarily submitted to us directly or indirectly through Third-Party Service Providers. However, no exchange of data over the Internet can be guaranteed as 100% secure. While every effort is made to protect your personal information shared with Mission503, Inc., you acknowledge that the Personal Information you voluntarily share could be accessed or tampered with by an unauthorized party. You agree that Mission503, Inc. is not responsible for any information-intercepts that occur without our knowledge or permission. Additionally, you release Mission503, Inc. from any, and all, claims arising out of, or related to, the use of such intercepted information in any unauthorized manner. If you become aware of any breach of security with respect to Mission503 or this Policy, please notify us immediately at Connect@Mission503.org. If our security measures are breached, we will notify you of the breach only if, and to the extent, required under applicable law. Such notification may be in the form of an email, letter, telephone call or text message.
Personal Information and Donor Information submitted to Third-Party Service Providers are secured through the security protocols of each third party which are independent and separate from Mission503.

Mission503 Website is not intended for use by children under eighteen (18) years of age. Mission503 does not direct communication to children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect or use information from children under the age of 18. We are committed to protecting children's privacy on the Internet and we comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The Voluntary Mechanisms managed or hosted by Third-Party Service Providers are intended for users 18 years of age and older. Please contact us at Connect@Mission503.org if you believe we have obtained Personal Information about a child without consent from their parent or guardian and we will take necessary steps to remove that information from our database.
Mission503’s Website contains links to other third-party websites, resources, and services (collectively, "Third-Party Resources"). These are unique and separate from our Third-Party Service Providers. Links to Third-Party Resources and Third-Party Service Providers will take you out of our Website. Mission503 is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and read the privacy statements of each, and every, website that collects personally identifiable information.
As Mission503 implements changes to our Policy, we will post changes to this statement and indicate at the top of this statement the date upon which the changes were made. If we determine, in our discretion, changes are significant, we will provide a more detailed notice on our Website and may also notify individuals in our database, for which we have an email address, of the changes via email.
