Faith in the face of fear.

It’s Oct. 31st, but I’m not talking about jack-o-lanterns or spooky haunted houses.

This past week we began soft-launching our video Open Letter to President Trump, HHS Secretary Kennedy and the American People by posting to social media.  As a private citizen, somewhat of an introvert, and an overall avoid-the-spotlight sort of person, it’s difficult to describe the roller coaster of feelings leading up to releasing this video.  Even the decision many months ago to go this route brought a measure of angst.

I read a daily devotional by Christine Caine, titled, “Unshakeable”.  As we enter next week with planned press releases, and potentially interviews, these excerpts from today’s devotion are so perfect.  She writes...

“Sometimes, when we take a risk in faith, the very thing that frightened us—almost paralyzed our future—becomes amazing. … If fears are keeping you from experiencing the extraordinary today, remember that God can work, despite your fear, to make miracles happen—especially when you step out in faith.”

“As we fix our eyes on Him, we see His love, we taste His power, and it feeds us. …“We achieve the impossible by focusing on the God with whom all things are possible.”

Our mission needs your prayers.  The children, and there will be many, who will miss trick-or-treating tonight because they are sick from sludge—need your prayers.

And in the midst of your own fears—seek God.  He is there for you.

Mom on a Mission503,
